Call For Participation
The aim of the IDEAS series of symposiums is to address the engineering and application aspects of databases.

IDEAS series of symposiums are scheduled annually and have been held since 1997 in North America, Europe and Asia and has attracted participants from governmental and non-governmental agencies, industries, and academia.

The eleventh annual conference of IDEAS, (IDEAS'07) will be held in Banff, Canada.Banff is in the Canadian rockies and it is 128 Km west of Calagary; Banff Center is 10 minutes stroll from the town of Banff.

The symposium will have focused sessions in the following areas:

 

  • Databases for e-commerce, e-governance
  • Privacy and security in databases
  • Data mining
  • Semantic Web and databases
  • Query processing and optimization
  • Bio-medical databases
  • Emerging database technologies
  •  

Conference Publication

 

The conference proceedings will be published by IEEE Computer Society. The extended version of the best papers would also be invited for publication in reputed journals.

 

Important Dates

Paper submission deadline: Apr. 27, 2007 (New date)
Acceptance notice: June 3, 2007(New date) - The emails have beem semt; authors can look at the resultrs and comments from reviewers.
Author Registration Deadline: June 22, 2007
Camera-ready copies due: June 22, 2007 (New date to meet the production schedule)
Conference dates: September 6-8, 2007 (Unchanged)
