Track: Big Data Analytics

Montreal

 

 

Big data analytics examines large data sets containing a variety of data types to uncover hidden patterns useful to making decisions in business, science, and government. This track is open to all research touching on the storage, querying, analysis, mining, and management of Big Data.


Topics of interest include, but not limited to:


Management of ultra-large scale structured and unstructured data; Management of unstructured data, text, images, videos, social media, and graphs; Distributed data mining using MapReduce and Graph processing; Linked data; Semantic web; Data analytics; Data mining; Outlier detection; Data provenance; Applications to business, science, GIS, medicine, government.

Submission Instructions, Deadline


Submissions and registration for participation is through ConfSys. Please see instruction in: about ConfSys

 

Papers should be submitted using IDEAS 2016 'event' choosing the track on "Big Data Analytics" before 20th March 2016 (EST).

 

All submissions will be reviewed by the Program Committee on the basis of technical quality, relevance to conference topics of interest, originality, significance, and clarity. For double blind review, author names and affiliations must not appear in the submissions, and bibliographic references must be adjusted to preserve author anonymity.

 

However names of ALL authors must be entered on the paper information page in ConfSys for the submission.

 

Accepted track papers will be published in the IDEAS '16 proceedings by ACM in their digital library; the ISBN assigned by ACM to IDEAS16 is: 978-1-4503-4118-9

 

A version of the proceedings to be distributed to the conference attendees would be prepared by BytePress.
