Call for Track Papers: Cybersecurity of Industrial Control Systems

Scope

In recent years, due to increase in the number of sophisticated cyber threats, resiliency and cybersecurity of critical infrastructure has become an important part of research and industry development, as these systems are highly interconnected and the consequence of infrastructure failure/attack can range from the benign to the catastrophic.

The general aim of this track is to outline the major challenges and future perspectives related to standards and policies, bid data analytics, resilient self-adaptation, mixed trust systems, proactive responsiveness, and human awareness. The overall objective of this track is to include a wide range of transdisciplinary contributions to provide an overview of the latest techniques and methodologies as well as future direction.

Topics

Topics of interest include, but are not limited to the following.

    • Cybersecurity of critical infrastructure
    • Cyber risk and security metrics in Industrial Control Systems (ICS)
    • Security of the Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition (SCADA)
    • Security of Internet of Things (IoT)
    • Cybersecurity of complex Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS)
    • Formal approaches for verification of the security requirements in control logic
    • Safety-security interactions
    • Behavioral Modeling
    • Attack modelling, risk assessment, intrusion detection, mitigation, and defense
    • Industrial Control Systems (ICS) security policies, standards, and regulations
    • Smart sensors and actuators’ data security and privacy
    • Insider Attacks and human-lead processes
    • Application of AI in vulnerability and risk analysis for ICS
    • ICS security and privacy modelling and simulation
